traveler's diaries, part one...

So, we have a bit of downtime right now, so I figured I would give you all a quick update on the adventure so far!

We somehow got to Bali earlier than our itenerary told us we would... but, I'm not complaining, because it was still almost 23 hours of flying, not counting time between transfers. By the time we got here, I had thrown up in an airport once, and spilled pineapple juice all over Robyn and I. I was ready to go to sleep.

Not, of course, before we got screwed over by the airport porters. I had told them that we did not need any help with our luggage, but Robyn was half asleep, and engaged them in conversation, which gave them the go ahead to grab our luggage, despite my protests, which resulted in them demanding exorbitant sums of money on the other side of the customs checkpoint. Robyn started handing over all of our money before I yelled that that was enough, and they took off.

We woke up in time for our first Balinese breakfast, which consisted of watermelon, papaya, fried noodles, fried chicken, fried rice, toasy, and croissants. That's basically what all of the breakfasts have consisted of so far. The food has been really good, though!

Our first day consisted mainly of napping, and spending time in the pool. Day two we walked to the beach, and discovered how truly terrifying Balinese sidewalks are (five foot deep ditches covered with precariously placed concrete slabs). We also discovered that it is damn near impossible for pedestrians to cross the street, and have decided that cabbing might be the way to go about getting around here.

Today we woke up super early, and headed to Tanah Lot right after breakfast. It was so beautiful, and totally worth the drive! We even found a taxi driver that drove us there, waited for us, and drove us back for a pretty reasonable fee.

The roads here are crazy... lines are only a suggestion, and there's a million mopeds with two or more people crammed on, stuffed into every lane. I saw a moped with FIVE people on it today...

Well, we're off to enjoy some time in the pool!

day 21: my favourite posts

Day 21, Tuesday: A list of links to your favorite posts in your archives.

Hmm... this one is kind of tough for me, because, in a lot of my older posts, the photos have gone missing, for some reason.  I'm not good at blogger, so this could have happened for any number of reasons.

I guess my most favourite post right now is my post about my vows.  Just because I love my vows, and I had so much fun writing them.

I like this post, because it is all about my adventures in customer service, and the crazy ass customers that I attract to myself.

This post is funny, because it talks about my adventures in online dating... and the creepers available in that world.

This post is a fun little story about my run in with "Iggy Pop."

Hmm... I think I'm going to cap it off there... I have a tonne more, but, like I said, a lot of the pictures have gone missing :(

I might still be on an airplane with hubs right now, so, hopefully you'll get a non-pre-planned update from me soon!

day 20: struggling...

Day 20, Monday: Get real. Share something you're struggling with right now.

Hmm... something I'm struggling with... nervousness and anxiety, I suppose.  I had a lot of anxiety going up to the wedding, but it was more like excitement anxiety and excitement nerves.  The same goes for leading up to our honeymoon, too.  It's like my body takes nervousness and excitement, and just amplifies it to the point where it's unbearable to deal with.

I'm also really anxious about finding a job in Korea.  I just really want to get back out there so badly.  I'm not even worried about selling and giving away all my worldly possessions.  It'll be nice to simplify, that's for sure!  I think my biggest concern with moving back to Korea, is how Robyn will do out there.  I'm certain he's going to love it... but, what if he doesn't?  Or even, what if I don't find a job?...

My brain is just filled with so many "what ifs?" that I sometimes fail to just live in the moment... I'm always worrying.  It gives me seriously bad insomnia... I just can't shut my brain off at night.  Blergh!

today is the day...

Today is the day that we leave for Bali!  While hubs and I are on vacation in paradise (for twenty days!), I will be doing updates for you all, here and there, to let you in on what we're doing for our trip!  And, of course, when we get back I'll have a tonne of details and photos for you all, and I'll be announcing the winner of my giveaway!

I'm so excited to see what Bali has in store for us... not so excited for the two days of travel, though!  It'll just be nice to get there and chill out for a few days before our tour of Bali, Lombok, and the Gili Islands :)

I'll be sure to keep you all updated when we have WiFi!

day nineteen: blogaroos...

Day 19, Sunday: Five of your favorite blogs and what you love about them.

This is hard!  I read so many blog every day... I feel like, no matter who I write about, I'm going to wish I had also written about someone else!  I'm probably going to break the rules, and tell you about more than five blogs... no one call the blog police!

Well, here we go!

Maddie at Head High Heart Strong.  She has a really cute blog about living in Korea, and I love reading her stories about what she does over there.  It definitely gives me a hankering to get back as soon as possible!

Violet at Violet LeBeaux.  This girl is so adorable, and she is so talented!  She has the most unique fashion sense, and she creates really awesome DIY tutorials!

Elycia at Love Elycia. A really lovely lady who is currently pregnant with her first child.  She has really fun craft and DIY tutorials, and she is an awesome photographer, too!

Kaehla at Little Chief Honeybee.  Super adorable posts about awesome stuff she finds on the internet, and her MASSIVE and so unique clothing collection!  Also, a fantastic photographer.

Michelle at Creature Type.  A super talented artist!  I LOVE looking at all of her designs that she posts... she makes me wish I was more creative!

Jasmine and Angela at The Happy Sloths.  These two girls post really great beauty product reviews, and have started delving into more personal material as well.  I love their writing styles!

Jordyn at The Fairy Princess Diaries.  This girl is HILARIOUS!  Every damn post she makes makes me smile.  I love everything she comes up with!

Rachele at The Nearsighted Owl.  This girl is an amazing fat activist, and one of the more inspiring people I have ever come across.  She has the greatest self-esteem ever, and I love her!

Crystalyn at FlavorPink.  Another amazing artist!  She works with watercolours, and makes me wish that I could pull off the amazing work she manages to create.  I love seeing the new artwork that she posts!

So, yup... definitely more than five... oh well.  I hope you check out all of the lovely blogs that I let you know about today!

day eighteen: the fish...

Day 18, Saturday: Tell a story from your childhood. Dig deep and try to be descriptive about what you remember and how you felt.

My family used to have a trailer and a lake lot out at Lake Isle, here in Alberta.  We used to go quite often in the summers, and it was always so much fun!  One year, when i was probably in Kindergarten, we went up there, and I remember the weather being amazing.  It was so sunshiney out, and the water in the lake was warm.  I was wading in up to my knees, and chasing the little minnows around, when I managed to catch one!  I was ecstatic!  I ran over to show my mom, and that was about the time she decided we should head back to the trailer.  I remember being so proud of my fish, and that I had caught it with my bare hands, I knew I wanted to take it back to the trailer to show dad.  So, I kept a firm grip on my fish, and we all walked back down the trail to the trailer together.  We got about halfway there, and I looked down at my fish, and noticed that his eyeball had popped out of his head.  I was DISGUSTED!  I immediately threw him into the bush, and was super pissed that my fish decided to be disgusting, so I couldn't show my dad.  We got back to the trailer, and I'm sure I told my dad, but I don't remember much about that.  I just remember being super disgusted that my fish had the audacity to pop out its eyeball when I was carrying it back.  Odds are I had probably squeezed it too hard.

day seventeen: self portrait...

Day 17, Friday: A favorite photo of yourself and why.

I took this picture while I was living in Korea, in front of my favourite wall stickers in my apartment.  There's nothing really special about the photo, I just like it.  I think my skin looks nice, and is kinda clear, for once... and I like how big my eyes look.  Now, it just reminds me of living in Korea, and I keep going back to this photo as one of my favourites of myself.  I feel like I just look really happy.  And I remember being really happy at that time.  I kinda used to love my self-cam photo sessions... taking a tonne of photos to get just the right one, after getting all dolled up to go out somewhere.  I kinda miss my Korean haircut, too... I thought it was pretty cute.

day 15: a day in the life

Day 15, Wednesday: A Day in the life (include photos from throughout your typical day - this could be "a photo an hour" if you'd like).

So, this is clearly a day late... hahaha.  With good reason!  A day in my life, lately, has been really boring.  I'm unemployed... so, my day is occupied with a lot of random, boring crap.  However!  As luck would have it, yesterday was a really busy day with wedding stuff, so I figured I would document THAT, because it was actually a pretty fun day!

Without further ado, a day in the life of someone finishing their wedding preparations!

I woke up at 10, and Robyn had stayed home from work (because he is still sick), so, after taking a shower, I asked him if he wanted to come to the mall with me, and keep me company while I got all the crap done that I needed to do.  And, because he is the sweetest dude ever, he totally agreed :)

My mom had sent my sister to the mall on a mission to pick up a guest book and a cake knife and serving set for us, so her and Robyn decided that they would do that while I did my girly prep stuff.  Bonding time!

First, I went and got my eyebrows waxed!  Hallelujah!  They FINALLY look nice, again!

After this, I walked across the mall to Studio Nails, and got some nice gel nails put on, since my natural nails are all shitty and broken, and I want nice nails for the wedding!

I've never had this type of gel nail put on before, and, I gotta say... IT FUCKING HURT!  Ugh, when they put the gel crap on, and you stick your hand under that UV light, and it bakes the nail on... ohmygod... so much burning.  I had to take my nails out and put them back in a few times before I could sit through it.  Cheese and rice!

I forgot to snatch a picture of the cake knife and server set... they're really pretty, though!  I'll take a photo of them at the wedding :)  They're getting engraved with our initials right now!

We also got our guest book, from Papyrus.  I LOVE that store!  I'll take a picture of it at the wedding, too.

Next, we went for lunch.  I had mall Chinese food... yum :)

Robyn and I went home for a little bit, and then we went to meet my mom and my sister's family in Fort Saskatchewan, at Tim Hortons, for my "last mother/daughters coffee as a Smith gal."

The rest of the night was filled with completing wedding preparations.  I finished putting together the origami flowers and making the name plates with them, Robyn put together the favours, and we finished setting up the centerpieces for the tables.

Also, there was Merlin.

I only have a few things left to finish prepping for the wedding... mostly just downloading the music for the reception... I can't believe Saturday is coming up so soon!

day sixteen: my "lot in life"...

Day 16, Thursday: Something difficult about your "lot in life" and how you're working to overcome it.

Hmm... this one is kinda tough.  I guess my anxiety is probably my biggest obstacle that I'm working on right now.  It leads me down the path to having depression and insomnia... but it has been getting better!  Sometimes I still get really bad anxiety, and it gives me really bad tummy aches and nausea, and makes me all sweaty and nervous... and then Robyn calms me down, and all is right with the world, again.  Anxiety is a lot easier to handle when you have someone awesome like the future hubs to keep you grounded.  And insomnia is a lot easier to handle when you have good ol' melatonin :P (even though it gives me crazy nightmares).

if robyn were to do my day eleven post...

So, if you all remember, day eleven of the "Blog Every Day in May" challenge was: "sell yourself in ten words or less."  I saw on another blog that I frequent, that the writer had asked her fiance to come up with some words to help describe her, and I thought that it might be hilarious to ask Robyn what he would come up with for me.  Well, as I've learned, I, apparently, have the sweetest fiance (hubby in five days!!!) ever!  Here is what he came up with (he came up with ten descriptors, instead of just ten words, but it's so sweet that I'll allow it :P):

Bright eyes
Impish grin
Busy fingers
Creative
Outgoing
Playful ideas
Warm heart
Adventurous
Knows what she wants
Sassy (sassy was an after thought... he asked me how many he had, and when I told him nine, he was like "oh, sassy, put that on there!"  He knows me all too well...)

What a sweetheart!

So, I figured I would give it a go, and I would describe him in ten words:

Handsome
Childlike innocence
Loving
Caring
Hilarious
Mischievous
Intelligent
Motivated
Optimistic

He'll eventually read this list, probably sometime this week... he reads my blog when he has downtime at work :)

On an unrelated note!  I got to pick up my wedding dress today!!  Every time I try it on, it makes me that much more excited for the wedding.  I love my dress so much!  It's a bit big on me... serves me right for dieting before the wedding, after giving the dress to the tailor.  It'll be fine, though :)  Five more days until the wedding!!!

Hope you all are having a stellar day... I think I'm gonna go have some hammock time :)  The weather outside is PERFECT today... here's hoping it sticks around for the wedding!

day thirteen - so very sorry...

Day 13, Monday: Issue a public apology. This can be as funny or as serious or as creative as you want it to be.

Sooo... up until pretty much a year and a half ago (coinciding with the time I met Robyn), I was pretty much the biggest asshole ever.  I was mean, I was judgmental, I was negative, I was a big jerk, I was overly-emotional, and I had the view in life that nothing was ever going to go right for me.  Basically, I had written myself off, so I acted like everyone else had written me off, too.

Things are A LOT different now, and I'm an entirely different person (however, the sarcasm remains)... so, I hope that the people I hurt, because I was hurting, can accept me for my changed self, and accept that I truly am sorry for being pretty much the worst person ever.  I seriously regret the way I acted every day of my life... but I'm learning to not dwell in the past, so I hope that people will not hold me to my past actions, and will accept me for the new, positive, awesome person--who is trying really hard--that I have become.

Now, this apology isn't for EVERYONE.  Some people really fucking deserved Queen Bitch Tara; and, to those people, I say: screw you, I became the new, awesome me IN SPITE of you!

You know which section y'all fit into.  I doubt the people who deserved my wrath are reading this, anyway.

So, to reiterate... I'm sorry for being the worst person ever for like 23 years of my life.

Sorry.

relaxation...

Yesterday was SUCH a busy day!

(Yay!  Smith/Eckert rehearsal!)

We went to our wedding rehearsal, which was pretty good... for the most part.  The Justice of the Peace that we have for our wedding made a big deal about everyone getting there fifteen minutes early, so that we start exactly at 11, and then, partway through the whole rehearsal, she sees her friend, stops the rehearsal, and starts trying to get this other lady's attention, and proceeds to talk to her for five minutes while all of us were wondering what the hell she was thinking.  Robyn was so not impressed... it was pretty awkward.  And rude.  The rest of the rehearsal went really well, though... the staff at the garden are amazing!  Of course, my mom teared up multiple times throughout the whole thing... she's going to be blubbering like a baby next Saturday :P

After the rehearsal, Robyn and I rushed over to a liquor store that we had been to in the west end before, because we knew they had the Ehrenfelser wine from Summerhill Winery, and that was the white I really wanted for the wedding.  We picked up four bottles of that, and four bottles of a Mission Hill Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as six bottles of Martini and Rossi Asti Spumante for the toasts.

Next we had the hair trials, and my long awaited hair cut!  I think my hair trial turned out pretty cute.  She did a twist along one side and along the front, and then a little mini twist on the other side.  It'll look a bit different next Saturday, because I'll have my fascinator, too.

A little taste of my hair for the wedding, and a nice view of the sunburn that I got :P (You can see Cocoa in the corner, too!)

After the hair trial, Robyn and I came home, and relaxed on the patio for a little while, before we had to go out to 4404 for our rehearsal dinner.  Dinner was really lovely, and I think everyone really enjoyed their meals.  It was nice to get to see most of our family and have a little get together before the big shindig next weekend.  And, I love 4404, it's one of my favourite restaurants!

I'm getting more and more excited every day for the wedding... it's going to be so much fun!  And it's only six days away!!  I feel like this week is going to pass by soooo quickly!

Today we pretty much just spent the day relaxing, hoping that Robyn will start to feel better soon... and I went out with my sister and the kidlets, to Walmart, to pick up a few groceries and some stuff for the trip.  It was nice to get to see Kippy today, even if I did get to see her yesterday (and I'll get to see her tomorrow :P)

I get to pick up my wedding dress from the tailor tomorrow!  I'm so excited!

Well, that's all I have for tonight!

day twelve - i miss you...

Day 12, Sunday: What do you miss? (a person, a thing, a place, a time of your life...)

I think it's FAIRLY obvious to everyone around me, but, in case you don't know me too well, I miss Korea. Every damn day.

I miss the water.  I miss the mountains.  I miss the people.  I miss the makeup.  I miss the stores.  I miss the beach.  I miss my students.  I miss my job.  I kinda miss my cute apartment.  I miss the grocery store by my apartment.  I miss the culture.  I miss the food.  I miss travelling there.  I miss the festivals.  I miss the cherry blossoms.  I miss the rain.  I miss getting cheap manicures.  I kinda miss my Korean bowl haircut.  I just miss it all!

Thankfully, I have the most AMAZING future hubby, and he has agreed to give in to my need to return to Korea, and we will be going back in February!  I'm so excited!!

Korea is just such an amazing country... it's so beautiful, and the people there are awesome.  I loved teaching there, the kids were so sweet (for the most part), and way more eager to learn than in Canada.  I just love everything about that place!

I am super nervous to go back... not sure why.  Maybe it's just the nerves from the wedding and honeymoon getting to me right now.  I think I'm nervous about having to apply to do it all over, again, too, though.  One way or another, I will be going back to Korea!  I must!

That kind of got off on a tangent... but, you get the point... I miss Korea!

mom...

I know this is pretty obvious, but, today is Mother's Day, guys!

Our wedding has kind of taken over the whole first half of May, so we celebrated my mom yesterday, along with our rehearsal dinner.  We got my mom a copy of The Guilt Trip, because I thought it was a cute movie, and that she would like it.  Mom isn't huge into movies, unless they have people like Barbara Streisand in them, haha.  Hopefully she likes it!

I talk to my mom on the phone a few times a week, and, lately, I've been going to see her with my sister once a week for a little Smith family coffee date.  It's nice :)  I really love my mom, even though there were times when I didn't really show her that when I was younger.  But, really, do teenage girls EVER truly appreciate their mothers?

We may have had our differences in the past, and, sometimes I get really annoyed with her really fast, but she's one of my favourite people in the world, and spending whatever time with her that I can makes me superbly happy.  She's an amazing woman.  She's so caring and loving, and she has the biggest heart out of anyone that I've ever known.  If there's anyone that I strive to be like, it's my mom.  She was the best mother growing up, and I hope I'll be even a fraction as good of a mother as she was.

I love watching her with my little nieces, she's pretty much the greatest grandmother ever.  The love and care and attention that she shows them just melts my heart.  You can see the love in her eyes with everything she does.

So, here's to my mom!  I love you!

rehearsals...

Tomorrow is a day filled with rehearsals.  We have to be at the Devonian Gardens by 10:45 tomorrow morning, so that we can start our wedding rehearsal  by 11, since our justice of the peace has something like four other weddings to take care of tomorrow.

After that, we go to the hair salon, where we have our hair trial (and I finally get a damn haircut!  Yay!).

I'm thinking of really changing up my hairstyle, going back to the straight across bangs, and going with a cute fringe braid hairstyle for my wedding.

After the wedding rehearsal, and the hair rehearsal, we have the rehearsal dinner, at one of our favourite restaurants in the city, 4404.  I LOVE 4404!  The food is always amazing... even if it is a bit pricey.  I'm just sad that they don't have my favourite dish, anymore... the osso buco.  It was delicious, and melted in your mouth.  I'm sure whatever I get this time will be amazing, as well :)

I'm excited for our day filled with rehearsals, tomorrow.  It should be a busy busy and fun day!  I'm also really excited to get my hair cut!

Oh, if you could all wish future hubs a speedy recovery, that would be super... the silly guy caught strep throat a week before our wedding and honeymoon!

day ten: i am embarrassing...

Day 10, Friday: Most embarrassing moment (s). Spill.

Oh god, where to start... I'm a pretty embarrassing person, usually for the people around me, more than anything.

One time, while with Rick at a pet store, we walked over to the reptile room, and there was a tank with a really big turtle in it.  I got super excited, and squealed out in this little girl voice that I had no idea I had inside of me: "IS THAT A TURTLE??!!" as loud as possible.  People turned and looked at me like I was crazy, and probably thought I was handicapped.

Rick and I were in Southgate Mall one day, and there was a section of floor squared off with chest high boards, and we were wondering what was going on.  We were bouncing ideas back and forth, and then I got my most exciting idea in my head, and, in the same voice as above, and as loud as possible, I yelled out "MAYBE IT'S A PETTING ZOO!!!"  Once again, people turned and looked at me like I was crazy.  I probably am.

In grade six, I was over at my friend's house, and we went for a walk in the park by her place with a mutual guy friend.  We got to this bridge, and I really had to pee, so I was all "OHMYGOD!  I NEED TO FIND A BATHROOM, I HAVE TO PEE!!" and then I peed my pants.  On the bridge.  In front of my friends.  Awkward.

My second year of university, I was living in a dorm on campus.  A bunch of us girls went out and got way too drunk, closed down the bar, and came back to campus.  Upon entering the dorm building, I promptly fell down a flight of stairs... wearing a skirt... in front of all of the other drunken fools coming home at that time.  Later that night, we were sitting in our floor's common room, and the campus cops came to check on our floor, saw me, and were like "hey, you're that girl that fell down the stairs!"

I slipped on and fell up a flight of slippery tile stairs on campus, walking to one of my final exams, and cut my foot and knee open so badly that I was squirting blood.  One of the education building workers cleaned me up with hand sanitizer and bandaged me up, and I went on to write two finals that day, limping and bleeding through my leggings the entire time.  Robyn and I had just been dating for about two months at the time, and he came to pick me up after my exams, and when I showed him my knee, he took me to emergency, where he sat with me most of the night, and held my hand while I had to get stitches.  A month later, he had to take me to the doctor, again, because it had gotten so infected, that it was making me sick.  It took almost four months for it to finally heal.  When I started classes again in September, the first thing I noticed was that they had removed the tiles from those stairs and replaced the stairs with concrete steps... pretty sure that was because of me.

Grade six: math class.  One of my peers was making fun of what I was wearing, and I was turned around, defending myself to him, while the teacher was talking.  Annoyed with my lack of attention, my teacher demanded I turn around.  So, I swung around with my arms outstretched, and ended up slapping my math teacher on the ass.

I had short hair when I was younger.  Still do, but now I have boobs.  Tangent... anyway... Because of said short hair, I was confused for a boy quite often (hence the boobs comment).  One day, we were in a restaurant, and I went to go to the washroom.  I was washing my hands at the sink, when this total bitchface whore walks in, looks at me, and says in the most disgusted tone "ugh, I didn't think this was the MEN'S washroom."

I got really drunk one New Year's Eve, and threw up in a garbage can in a transit station.

In grade three we went on a class trip to Elk Island National Park, and went on a hike around this lake.  I started feeling really sick and lightheaded, and ended up throwing up halfway through the hike, in front of everyone in my class.

Last summer, I had the bright idea for Robyn and I to go horseback riding in Kananaskis Country.  It seemed like it would be SUCH A FUN TRIP!  We got to the ranch, and I got to see the horses, and I was so excited... until I actually got up to my horse and realized how tall he was... and then realized that I was supposed to get up on him.  It took me quite a while to psych myself up, and I delayed our group's departure time quite a bit... but I finally got up on that horse.  I mean, Robyn had paid for our adventure already...  I even turned around and told him I wasn't going to be able to do it, and he didn't seem annoyed (probably because he's the nicest guy EVER.).  So, yes, I got on the horse.  Cue the nervous crazy person laughter.  This is when I should have known that my leaving the stable would be a bad idea.  However, they lead my horse around with me on it for a little bit, and it seemed okay... so, I stupidly agreed.  Riding on flat ground was okay, and then we started going up hills... and that was okay.  But, when you get up a hill, you have to somehow get down.  TERROR.  It was at our first downhill point that I started getting really freaked out, and the horse could sense how terrified I was... suddenly, things were no longer fun.  I started freaking out, the hills started getting steeper, and the horse started to get upset that it was stuck with such a schmuk on its back.  Eventually, the horse decided that he didn't want to participate anymore, and the group leader had to tie my horse to her horse to get my horse to go.  Robyn's horse kept trying to bite my horse, too... which was not a fun part of the adventure.  As the hills got steeper, I started panicking even more, and the group leader ended up having to lead my horse down the rock steps and steep part of the ride, on foot, because I was hyperventilating and crying.  She actually had to lead my horse a good portion of the way... with a broken foot.  Eventually... after like two hours... we got back to the ranch, and I got off the horse, and I was so relieved I almost cried.  I apologized profusely to our tour leader, because I felt like such an idiot... but I will definitely NEVER be getting on a horse EVER AGAIN.  Needless to say, Robyn gave her a pretty good tip :P

There's tonnes more, but this is getting long :P

day nine - the best part of my day...

Day 9, Thursday: A moment in your day (this can be just a photo or both a photo and words).

The best part of my day, today, and for the past few days, has just been hanging out in the hammock, on the patio, talking to the lovely future hubs.  The weather has been so amazing, and the hammock is red, and I get to swing in the breeze, and sometimes Tuna Cat sits on my belly and lets me scratch him behind the ears.  The sun shines down on me, and everything feels perfect.  I forget about my anxiety over the wedding and our honeymoon, and I just chill out and love spending time in that hammock.  Plus, future hubs has been all sassy today.  He's been feeling pretty sick, and I gave him NeoCitran, and for some reason, this unleashes his sassiness.  Either way, it has been hilarious,  and I've been laughing at him and his goofiness all day.  Although, he did burn me pretty good at one point, so I told him I was going to give him "summer teeth."  "Summer (some are) over here, and summer (some are) over there."
